This uses IE, Linux (normally) doesn't have IE.

Using the command line on Linux is probably a suitable alternative.

I'm running FireFox 3 beta on my Ubuntu development/samba server. I'd think with FireFox's plugin capabilities, it would be easier to code for (though admittedly, I haven't tried it).
